Basking in Tatra natives‘hospitality surrounded by traditional mountain air, you were taking in the unforgettable atmosphere sitting by the fire. Comely lads in Goral fedoras offered you a strong beverage the memory of which has remained with you until this day.

History of origin

When you visit High Tatras and their „outlaw tatra chalets“, each of them will offer you as an aperitif their speciality – hot tea from the tatra-herbs drenched with concentrated alcohol. For many years we have carried in our heads an idea to bring this speciality in consumer packaging into every home and premises in Slovakia.

In 2003 the time for this idea has come, in this year it started to be produced. After one year of development at the beginning of 2004 we introduced to the market our TATRATEA 52% Original. Consumers love it so much that is has been becoming the Slovak national drink.

The way of consummation


Describing the taste and aroma of TATRATEA would mean to steal you from the enjoyment. It is possible to consume it chilled or on the rocks/with ice.

 
It will show you its „true face“ when you pour 1,5 dl of boiling water or hot tea over the 0,5 dl of TATRATEA. Finally, it is a grateful basis for the long drinks, whether you use cola, tonic, sprite or even tea with a slice of lemon. Just allow your fantasy.
