National Award for TATRATEA design 2011

On Friday 27 May 2011, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Slovak Design Centre, the results of the nationwide competition were officially announced. In this 10th biennial competition in which 150 works were judged, Slovak designers gave the recognition and awarded gold for TATRATEA packaging.

The creators of the graphic proposal were Juraj Demovic and Livia Lorinczova from PERGAMEN Trnava Ltd.  The fact that they did a great job is demonstrated by the number of awards received from abroad.  The most prestigious of these were the EUROPEAN DESIGN AWARD from Rotterdam, RED DOT DESIGN AWARD from Essen, GOLD AWARD PENTAWARDS from Shanghai and GRAND PRIX AWARD WINNER SIAL from Paris.

All that is left to be said is that in Slovakia we also can create wonderful things that we can all be proud of.  Sometimes however, we must first win a few more gold medals from abroad so that we will ultimately receive the recognition we deserve at home.
