Sarajishvili Brandy – “Georgian Liquor”
Georgia’s history of wine making dating back thousands of years literally predestined this country to be one of top brandy producers. Georgia owes its world fame to a singular personality, and that being David Sarajishvili. Having attained his education in the French region of Charente, back in Georgia he founded a plant making first Georgian brandy in 1884. By the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th centruy, the company marked notable success in all branches of industrial spirit making, especially thank to its production of liquors, extracts, rums and brandy. David Sarajishvili is considered a founding father of brandy making not only in Georgia, but the entire Russian empire of that time.
The company‘s apple of the eye is brandy „Eniseli“, winning award 29 times, 20 times receiving the golden medal itself. Sir Winston Churchil classed „Eniseli“ brandy among the best tasting he had ever had pleasure of experiencing, exceeding even the French cognac.
JSC SARAJISHVILI produces more than 15 main products, three of which are standard 3-star products, “Aragvi” is a five-star product, 6 year old “Egrisi", 8 year old “Vartsikhe”, 8 year old “Armazi”, 9 year old “Gremi”, and 10 year old “Gelati| which was awarded with one silver and four golden medals in 2001. "Dzalian Dzveli" ("Very Old") brandy is the only brandy that has outlived from the personal brandy collection of David Saradjishvil. He used the oldest 12 year old liquor he owed at that time to create this brand in 1901.

Brandy mellowing in casks for 5 years, owing its origins to various vineyards of Georgian micro-regions. It is of soft straw hue, distinguished aroma and pleasant taste.
SARAJISHVILI V.S.
Carefully selected wine spirits with ABV of 60% that had mellowed for 15 to 18 years before this product’s composition cut was achieved. Subsequently, the spirit was left to mellow in the oldest oak casks from the JSC Sarajishvili company cellars for the time period o f 6 to 8 years. This brandy is of soft golden hue and sophisticated taste with typical smell reminding of fruit and oa k .
SARAJISHVILI V.S.O.P.
Wine spirits of different aromas and tastes which had mellowed for 25 years were carefully selected once this cut composition h as been established. After having been filled into the oldest oak casks, the brandy continued mellowing for another 8 to 10 years. V.S.O.P. has got soft golden hue, sophisticated taste, and typical smell reminding of fruit and oak.
SARAJISHVILI ENISELI
This brandy is made of spirits that had mellowed on average from 14 to 18 years and come from unique collection of distillates assembled by David Sarajishvili. Grapes designated for production of this distillate were selected from the Georgian Shilda-Eniseli microregion. It is of gold hue, soft velvet taste and sophisticated aroma.
SARAJISHVILI XO
This brandy is made of spirits that had mellowed for 18-30 years and come from unique collection of distillates assembled by Davi d Sarajishvili. It is of gold hue accompanied by oak, vanilla and chocolate aroma. Its taste is velvet soft.
