Golden Nail 2010 goes to TATRATEA14.5.2010, Kežmarok/ Slovakia
Boasting of its new design, TATRATEA 52% Original has won prestigious award conferred in the competition called the Golden Nail 2010 by dominating the category of bottle design and has also landed another award called ART PRIX for the artistic feat of the year. This award was accepted by representatives of Pergamen Trnava, a company responsible for the bottle’s winning design.
The competitions‘ promulgator is company Ad Awards Association, s. r.o. , its specialist sponsors are Club of Slovakia’s Advertising Agencies (KRAS), Art Director's Club Slovakia (ADC) and a monthly called Strategies in Advertising, Marketing and the Media (Strategies). This competition is devised to draw participation mainly from Slovakia’s advertising agencies. Besides "major categories" such as television commercials, campaigns, etc., there are also minor categories – e.g. design of packing (category F - Techniques, F3) . Participating competing Works are judged by the Golden Nail’s 2010 panel of 9 primary judges /together with the jury’s chairperson/ and by 2 specialists for categories A – F .
The ART PRIX award bestowing recognition upon a unique feat of the year, also received by our product TATRATEA, can be conferred by primary jury of the current Golden Nail to an individual for his or her significant artistic contribution to a work of art in the field of advertising. This prize is awarded by the panel‘s quorum / upon securing a two-third majority of votes/ and it is the only prize bestowed in the relevant category. It is not possible to apply for participation in this category with one’s particular work. The jury chooses prospective candidates to receive this award in course of judging other Golden Nail competition’s categories where it notes eventual artistic feats as described above. Voting on the Artistic feat Award concludes award giving to all Golden Nail categories. It is conferred to individual creative authors.
